I've driven my caddy 22,000 miles since I bought it May 18th, 2002. In the summer I love to go away every weekend and get the hell out of the city. There's nothing like taking a road trip in your caddy because the drive is so enjoyable, so comfortable, and the car is so accomodating. Last summer I drove mine from Boston to Northern Vermont on the weekends, From Boston to Nothern Maine several times, From Boston to the Cape constantly...I'd park her in Woodshole because I went to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket about 6 times. The miles just roll by and you don't even notice... This summer I'm taking the HK2 (car's name) to the great state of Michigan to see family and enjoy a week away from the bustle. I long to park it next to my uncle's 1976 Baby Blue Cadillac Eldorado Convertible...

Where do you like to drive your Caddy??

I like to drive her anywhere I can. I just LOVE to drive her ;)
Last year I took it from home in PA to Connecticut for a business trip. I was supposed to meet up with another Fleetwood freak like myself but we just couldn't get our schedules to work. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to it. There's not a lot of guys modding Fleetwoods so having the two together would've made some great pictures.

Last Aug. my wife & I left W. Mi. and crossed into Canada at Sarnia on the way to Niagra Falls. Saw the sights, won $1,500 US at the casino and decided we had time to go to the coast and get some lobster. Took the 90 toll road to Boston and later had dinner in Glouster at a lobster restaurant on the pier. Just wonderfull.
I got real sick of traffic on 90 going through NY so on the return trip we took I-81 to I-86 accross NY to Erie, PA. then on to MI.
The jaunt on I-86 added about 6 hrs to the trip but it was great. Wide open road, very little traffic and the Caddy was kept close to 100 most of the time. Wife gets a little nervous over 100 so I kept it off the limiter for her. What a fun day of driving.
So if you got a little extra time and your headed this way I would really sugest that drive.

Took mine from Orlando to L.A. when I moved out there, towing an RX7. Did the trip 3 more times after that. Once to visit my mom for Thanksgiving and another to move back to FL. Aslo took her from L.A. to Phionxe to pick up a 73 Eldo convertable. towed that home on the with her. That was a fun trip (shakes head). Last road trip with her was from Orlando to Austin TX for ImpalaFest back in October. Next one is probably gona be to Vegas with a new Caddy:D.

Anywhere and everywhere! When my mom owned her, man she saw the country! My parents are full-time RVers and dad drove the rig (Ford F-650 truck and Royals Carriage 38' 5th wheel) and she followed in the car. She bought it in Vienna, VA (A Moore Cadillac) and they moved to TN. Then made a big circle through the midwest, over to CO, down to NM, and back to VA, when I bought her. Since, we've been out to Arkansas for Thanksgiving/Christmas a few times (paternal grandparents live there), we've driven down to Florida for our honeymoon (to catch a cruise out of Pt. Canaveral). Then we went back out to Arky again. We're now planning a move to Fayetteville, NC (job transfer) and have been down there a few times. Right after we get moved, we're going to drive up to Michigan to see maternal family up there.

My bump-around is my '95 Nissan truck. 4-cyl, 5-sp, good mileage, tough as a boot. But when we want to get out on the road, we jump in the Caddy, and we get out A LOT! We've put 31k miles on 'er in about 16 months.

it's cool. I never actually figured out how the spelling went to begine with. What's even funnier is I sat there for a minute typing it out a few times. It looked right at the time:D
