I drive an 89 Brougham. My left turn signal works fine, but my right turn signal lights up and doesn't blink. The green arrow on the dash and the front and back lights all stay lit when I put my right signal on, but no blinking. The hazzard flashers work fine too on both sides and blink. Any ideas?

Put Your Hazard Flashers On Again And Very Carefully Inspect All The Lights, I Think You Will Find One Of The Right Lights Not Working. One Ungrounded Or Burnt Out Bulb Will Keep The Flasher From Working. Also Switch The Two Flashers . The Hazard Flasher Is Usually Heavier Duty Than The Turn Flasher And Would Last Longer.

I checked the right flashers. The top and bottom of the flashers seem to be dimmer than the left flasher top and bottoms. Only the middle of the flasher lights up, where as on the left flasher the whole thing lights up. Thanks, I'll check it out.

switch it? i presume you mean the two flashers? with the hazard flasher blinking, look up under driver side dash and locate by listening for it. same goes for turn signal flasher, key on, left signals blinking, listen for it. they connect the same way, usually the hazard is heavier duty.

I fixed it...turned out it wasnt the flasher...it was the bulbs in the rear turn signal...the guy who owned the car b4 me put in a 3157 and a 3457 bulb in it in the 2 top sockets...and the 3157 was blown....first off they are both the wrong bulb type...its a 3057 thats supposed to go in both...so i bought 2 30 57 bulbs and put them in and it worked perfectly!.....thank god it wasnt the flasher...trying to find it and replace is annoying in my oppinion...BEST bet for for anyone with this problem....just check every bulb in the from and back!
