SvB4Eva...are the ones on the Caddy website on your car..
I had never seen those...If they are I need the part number
on those..

Exhaust Tips for 3.6 Liter and 2.8 Liter Models
Enhance the rear appearance of your new CTS with styled exhaust tips. These stainless steel tips provide the perfect finishing touch for your new CTS.
InfraredFL--I don't know the P/N; I got them as OEM parts when I took delivery of my CTS. (Actually I got the dealer to throw them in as the "handshake" on the deal :D) I'm sure the Lindsay Parts guy (Luke) could provide the part number for you. They are stainless and the same as the "sport appearance package" tips. I haven't seen the EG classics in person so I can't comment as to similarity.

HEY! the tips on my car are stock. part of the "sports appearance package". i got the car with them on already. all the pics of my car is exactly how i picked it up from the dealer. call your dealer or look around for a part number... im not even sure how they are on... i will look tomorrow :highfive:
The tips you're referring to are dealer installed, and they are very different from SvB's Sport Pkg. tips and the E&Gs. The $100 dealer installed tips are smooth cylinders that do not flare open at the end, nor do they point straight back like the others- they slide over the stock black tip and still point down in a similar fashion. The tip is angled to make it look straight at the back of the bumper, but from the side it looks like the picture below.

I'd get the E&Gs, or have a muffler shop angle cut the stock tips and weld on a nice fat one that points straight out the bumper.

They are welded right on at the factory.

^Exactly- I'd go to a muffler shop and have something like that done instead of the slip-on tips.
Better than the E&G's!

Definitele better than the E&G tips but where can I get them ??
I need help with this guys....
That's going to be tough, man. Those tips are not sold seperately, nor will they have part number as they are part of the muffler.

Find a comparable tip anywhere you like and have it welded on- just make sure they angle cut the stock tip so the aftermarket one sticks straight out the back.

If you have to cut and weld, than make it perfect at once:

Good info Tony! As you said, my tips don't flare (though the dealer told me they are the same as the sports appearance package...:bigroll:) They are not welded on but are attached with a set-screw and are quite secure.
Right turn can you take a closeup pic
of your tips...maybe they are the same ones
and the ones on Svs car were put on with welding...
for a cleaner install...Thanks
I am also exploring the install of the CTS-V exhaust...
just considered of any drone like I had on the Magnaflows...
