I have a 1997 DeVille and the right rear seat belt is constantly in a twisted state. I have tried on a number of occasions to untwist it, but it never will stay that way. I have kids (could that be the problem?) and I'm not feeling very safe when they use that belt. Has anyone else had a problem like that or know how to fix it?

Thanks.

I had that problem on my Q.... It was twisted so much that it wouldnt move in any direction.... Turned out taht I had to take out the back seat and force it in to pull it all the way out and untwist it.....

Technically the dealer will have to fix any seat belt related thing free of charge, since the NHTSA requires that all restraint systems have a lifetime warranty!

You should have all of them replaced anyway... Hey, its free.... If any of them are slow to retract or anything like that, they shouldnt hesitate to replace or fix them......
