I had my 2020 Sport in for service and got a 2021 Premium Luxury as a loaner.
My Sport has the 21" wheels with Michelin tires. The Premium Luxury had 20" Continentals.
My Sport rides wonderfully. Absorbs small bumps, can't even feel/hear breaks in the pavement, yet is tight around corners.
Anyway when I got the PL I assumed it would be a more "cushy" ride with the taller sidewall and suspension difference.
Totally surprised. The PL rode rough, heard and felt every bump in the road and was basically not a good ride.
Even my wife noticed the difference right away.
Checked the tire inflation thinking the tires were overinflated, but they were spot on. Only about 3,000 miles on the odometer.
I'm assuming it has to be the tires. Can't imagine what else it could be.
Anyone else found a difference in ride quality between the two trim levels? I was stunned thinking the ride quality should be the other way around!
Obviously I'm not complaining since my ride is great! Just an observation.
