I own a 06 DTS lux 2 FE1 suspension. Diagnosed a knock in the front end yesterday. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a size or difference in size that will not make this sway bar link work, (MOOG K700528 Front; 5.5" on rock auto or 5.25 on a few other sites is listed Length) or if the design old or new design is not good or if one is better etc. The OEM part is about 6.0 inches or so. I've seen everything from 7 to 5.5. (however, I live where rust is a problem and pot holes are everywhere which is why I more than likely having to replace this as it broke on the bottom where nut attaches where rust would form or the stock bolt was inferior grade.) Any help would be great because being too short is mostly my concern. However, I also wouldn't want a ton of extra thread sitting exposed to rust. I was either going to get Mevotech or Moog for the corrosion/rust deterrent finish/material but the difference in the lengths is of concern to me as a 1/2-3/4 in difference could mean it could be too short. It also could mean it was shortened for a reason to address a problem or to just save them a few pennies. Mevotch TTX is about double the price but stock length both have barrel nut, Moog's has nut welded to washer mevotech's does not and is also longer then moog's. Does anyone have any experience with either product? Also, I guess some call the "sway bar" a "stabilizer bar" if that helps get an answer faster. Thanks

had Realy good luck finding troubleshooting stuff on here for other past issues but I guess no one has input...I'll just order and hope the 3/4 in differences don't affect anything.
