Hi folks,
I need to know if the Hollander 4566 will directly replace my 4564's on my 2002 STS.

The 4566's are off a Olds Aurora but look identical.

Do they have the same Offset? center bore?

I have the Hollander wheel manual but it does not show specific dimensions.

 Darn good question........The 4566 also lists as an '03 CTS option. I'm looking at a set of '66's to back up my '02 Seville 17's. I intend to ask my dealer parts people to run a part number comparison. If the 2 examples of 17x7.5 wheels aren't extremely close or identical, I'd be surprised. PM me next Monday or Tuesday.....I'm out at sea right now........inport Thursday eve......

The wheels are the same, dimensionally. The STS wheels are chrome plated with matte silver openings. The 4566 units are polished or machine finished and clearcoated overall. Be VERY careful of comparisons from online pix. Caveat Emptor. (Your pic is, in fact, an STS wheel. The 4566 has a somewhat softer, overall silvery matte finish.)

I have 03 chrome 17" wheels for sale if anyone is interested. They are in mint condition. I got the car with less than 17K so you can imagine what these wheels look like. W/STS cneter caps and lug nusts.
4 for $800 with tires if you want, about 10K miles left on them. Believe me thay are mint. [email protected] Thanks

Not sure on the dimensions, etc.. However I have a set of these 7-spoke polished 17s on my Olds and they came from a CTS, they appear to have a fairly high offset. Does any one know the offset (or backspacing) on the STS 17" wheels? I have seen some on an Aurora (they were only on the Final 500) and they don't appear to have any coating over them.

This group of wheels uses a 115mm 5-bolt circle, has a 40mm ? offset, indexes on the center bore, (not the bolt circle), and has a nominal rim width spec of 7.5" The satin finish clearcoated 2003 CTS 17" wheel is identical to the 17" Seville STS wheels except for the chrome with no clearcoat.

so after looking into this a little bit here's what i've found
(and i'm talking about the ebay auction... if there were any pics in any other posts I don't see them)

...

the casting number that would mean anything to me is the longer number - 9594179

that would normally be the GM part number (and it sure does look like one) but it does not match any current or discontinued GM part number
we also have a 'casting conversion' that can take numbers like this that are stamped onto parts and convert them to the 'proper' part number
no luck with that either

i have no clue what the '51' means ... i would think offset maybe but i'm not sure

also, i have not looked up the hollander listings (we never deal with hollander numbers)

...

one thing that does stick out like a sore thumb to me is the center cap
it is definitely a knock-off aftermarket center cap
that (along with the fact that the number stamped into it does not come up valid) all leads me to believe that this wheel is a total aftermarket unit produced to look like the cadillac wheels in question

their fitment chart says that they will fit so i would assume that they would and if not they should take them back
(maybe do a little email conversation to 'get it in writing' before you purchase)
and another thought: it's not easy to screw people over on ebay and keep a 99.5% feedback satisfaction rating over 12 months on ebay

...

if i had to guess i'd say if you like the wheels and they're the right price
AND you can get real center caps then go for it

These guys have been gone for 4 years, Chris.

You got me to thinkin' - Doing some research turns up conflicting offsets for these wheels. Some (me included) say it's ~40 mm while others say it's ~50 mm. Any ideas ??? What do your GM books show - if at all ?

The STS #4564 chromed wheel (17")(#09593846) and the '03+ CTS 17" polished/clearcoat wheel #4566 (#09594179)(nothing turns up on a Google search for this wheel) are identical in size - the only difference is finish.

I put the CTS wheels on the STS each November - with luggy "all season" tires fitted now - no problems - and the STS center caps fit either wheel perfectly as do the CTS caps that came with the CTS wheels.

The parts catalog has no offset info on these wheels. I think only the 2nd gen ctsv wheels are the only ones I can recall having offset info in the parts catalog.

I would think that aftermarket wheel companies would have this info listed for the wheels they sell for these cars.

And actually someone PMd me the link over the weekend. So I figured I'd give the info out in the open.

Hi Sub & Chris,
I am the reason why this old thread has been resurrected :thepan:

Anyway, I've been looking and calling everywhere trying to figure out what the correct off-set is for Hollander 4564, but have yet to find definitive proof.

I recently requested a close up picture of a Buick Lucerne / Cadillac DTS wheel. I believe this is Hollander 4074 (MPN# 17800381)

https://detroitwheelandtire.com/cadillac/buick-cadillac-dts-lucerne-factory-oem-wheel-rim-hollander-4074-2006-2007-2008-2009-2010-2011.html

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BUICK-CADILLAC-CHROME-WHEEL-PT-17800381-18X7-5-J-x-51mm-365-00-/110953563674?_trksid=p4340.m1850&_trkparms=aid=222001&algo=SIC.CURRENT&ao=1&asc=11&meid=2140475794448120461&pid=100011&prg=1005&rk=1&

If you look at the format of the wheel size casting on this Lucerne/DTS wheel, it is very similar to the picture Sub posted of the STS wheel, but it has "mm" listed after the 51. To me, this makes it more likely the 51 is the offset in millimetres. Thoughts?

I would be thrilled if my STS has a 51mm offset because that means I have several options when purchasing new wheels for my 2002.

Thank you and sorry for digging up old posts!

Hey - It's all good info and one of these days (I just rotated the original #4564 STS chrome 17's 2 weeks ago) I'll pull a wheel off the car and look at the size/casting numbers.

I'll send an e-mail to the guys up at www.wheelcollision.com asking for the #4564 offset - if it comes back at 51mm then we're all in the same ballpark.

OK - Here's the word from the horse's mouth - via e-mail from www.wheelcollision.com in Bath, PA late this PM.

Our offset for the H#4564 and similar Seville/Aurora/early CTS wheels is 51mm. (Within a whisker of 2")

As I run across my earlier posts claiming a 40mm offset I will change that to reflect this information. (5mm is almost exactly 0.2", so about 25mm = 1")

Thanks Sub! I really appreciate you looking into it. I'm so happy I can get the wheels I want now!

Thanks to Chris and everyone else who helped get to the bottom of this!
