Replacing 2007 gauge cluster

Does anyone know anything about replacing a 2007 gauge cluster? For instance trim removal tips ect and does the new cluster need to be programed or does it just start working?

It should work automatically once you plug in back in.BTW why do you want to take it apart.

The mileage is stored in multiple memory locations so if you tamper with the cluster although it will show one mileage the dealer can verify it.
