I'm pretty sure this vehicle came with HID leadlights, but my repair shop is saying the VIN show halogen.
Anyway, the car is in great shape but the headlights work fine but look crap (totally fogged over).
Has anyone replaced theirs?
I'm looking at OEM options

AFAIK, all Vs had the HIDs, so I think you're right not to trust what the repair shop is telling you. The stock headlamps are expensive. Try giving Luke @ Lindsay Cadillac a call (703-647-8670, ask for Luke). Make sure you let him know you're from Cadillac Forums. He can look up the parts and gives discounted pricing to forum members.

With all that said, if you check the Appearance Mods forum you'll see that a number of folks have cleaned up the stock lamps - sand 'em smooth, clear coat, black or grey paint around the perimeter - as that was more economical than buying new ones.
