Replacement Headlamps For 2002?

I purchased a certified 02 SLS last year and absolutely love the vehicle. A couple weeks ago I bumped into an suv and damaged the headlamps. I have had ABSOLUTELY NO LUCK locating these assemblies. I have been told that the company making these went out of business and GM is still looking for a new manufacturer.

Anyone else have this problem and how was it resolved?

My rental is about to expire.

I damaged the headlamps to my 2002 SLS about 3 weeks ago and can't find any headlamp assemblies anywhere. The dealer said the original manufacturer went out of business and GM is looking for another supplier.

anyone else have a similar situation and how was it resolved? Any info would be greatly appreciated since my rental runs out in 8 days.

What about getting one from a junkyard?

There are some big yards and yard networks that also do business on eBay; lkqOnline is one. They may be able to hook you up even if they don't have one listed.

Also try: http://car-part.com/ there were quite a few listed but good ones are $$$$

Depending on where you are members here may be able to guide you to a good local yard.

thx for all the help, I'll follow up on all these suggestions and let u know how it turns out.

I've tried area junkyards and the few all have damage, i.e. cracked lenses, etc.
