Plugged passenger fan up to car and never turned on. Car temp ran up to 210, sigh. Will have to get battery into fluke meter and ring out lines and check to see if power is being applied. I thought they were supposed to come around 190 deg. Do u think both need to be connected?
Replacement fans won't turn on.

Darkman, thank you! Also it's possible drivers side fan is in circuit and/or part of passenger fan pcm signal path.
Despite what the FSM says (I've quoted those same numbers myself here somewhere), I've been told by the guy that tuned my car that the setpoints were actually higher. I can't remember now what they were, but something like 218 and 226. He said that was pretty typical of every LS engine he had tuned.
