Anyone have any experience with the two piece drive shaft from JDM Hub ? looks like it's
good for 750 - 900 hp. My carrier bearing is shot ( howls like a banshee ) and I'm not sure I want to put a stock unit back in

Thanks Chris, it looks like USAGMParts has got it for $698, I'm not so thrilled with the stocker it lasted < 40K miles.

Finally done our new replacement driveshaft for the Cadillac CTS and CTS V. Replace your broken or weak driveshaft with our new complete kit. GM wants almost $1700 for a new driveshaft!!! Most common problem is the carrier bearing goes bad and is unservicable. Also for our ************ the rear CV joint, Carrier bearing, rubber coupler are all weak points. This kit replaces everything and includes Billet adapters for transmission and rear axle yoke, a 2 piece driveshaft with regular u-joints.

Complete CTS kit is $850 shipped in the US 48.
These are built as they are ordered, so please allow 1 week for build time.

Are these still available? Bearing went out for the second time and I'd rather replace everything.

I went with a Dorman driveshaft replacement. No issues in a lot of miles.

Yes DSS still makes drive shafts for a V1.
