Hello,

On my 03’ cts my rear brakes are starting to squeak and its getting time to check the brakes. Im wondering what type of brakes can I get for the cts. I called Kragen and Autozone to get started and I also looked in ebay. Do you guys recommend any brand? How long do they last and do they produce a lot of dust? And how do they perform?

EBC Green are what I have very minimal dust and perform fantastically

EBC Green are good. I ran them on my old Pontiac. I've also used Hawk HPS with excellent results as well. Seemed to perform a tad better than EBC and lasted longer too. Both good choices tho!

Stay away from metallic pads. I ran them on a car and they didn't stop for crap until they got hot. More of an all-out race pad and not recommended for the street!
