sometimes my clutch feels pretty heavy, sometimes very light
sometimes the stick shakes a bit too much in certain gears, and sometimes it doesnt

and these opposing symptoms can switch suddenly the next time I drive my car

any ideas what this could be? Thanks

For the clutch it could be weather related (not sure how long you have owned the car). When it gets colder out the clutch is stiffer until the car warms up. As for the stick shaking I have no idea mine doesnt really shake that much in my 04.

this morning to work the "shaking" was pretty bad
worst in 1st gear, some in 2nd, very little in other gears

the day before it seemed worst in 2nd gear from work. An hour later I drove it again and there was no shaking problems.

turns out I have a broken drive shaft
I got quoted $450 out the door, is this a fair price?
