After a heavy rain+strong wind, I noticed my carpet on the right side was really soaked. Never happened before.
We had this same problem on 2 other GMs, a 98 Grand Prix and 01 Bonneville.....always right side only. Dealer said it was common....
Anyway, I want to "do the fix", which is to roll back the carpet and drill a couple of small holes in the floor panel, but I can't figure how to remove the door sill and right kick panels. I admit I didn't try too hard, since I thought it would be more prudent to ask on this forum first.
I would imagine there are hidden clips, but usually on the door sill plates I would find some hidden screws there too, and I didn't want to take a chance of breaking the piece.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
