I'll be installing an ipod neo adapter soon (www.mp3yourcar.com). The smartest setup seems to be to run the cable from the stereo down under my cupholders and drill a small hole in my console to leave my ipod in the console, in case I want to reach in and manually select a song, change playlist, etc. (glovebox is a bit too far away in such a monstrous interior). So my question for you all is what will be the easiest way to get the wire under there cleanly? I would like to have to take apart my interior as little as possible, catch my drift? I saw there was a member who did something similar with aux-in jacks for an ipod setup, username started with an S.....

thanks very much in advance.

Not sure on the 02. However i ran both my xm antenna and monster rca mini cable under my cup holders.I lifted up the cupholder surround and there were 2 8mm underneath. Also 1 8m underneath the top part of the console. After that The top half removes as one.

No bolts on the 02 cup holders. Just pull straight up and out. If you take the trim surrounding the clock and DIC off, it makes pulling the cup holders out easier. There is one wire connected for the lighter.

Switch out the head unit to a new kenwood and run the adapter from the back so it sits in the glovebox. That way you can control the ipod through the touch screen on the head unit while the ipod is out of the way and out of sight.
