I figured out what the peg and clip is used for. The peg is part of the bumper cover and the clip holds the cover to the aluminum bumper.

I removed my bumper and then remove the clips from what I call pegs. One question is what do those pigs hold in.
The pieces that hold the Chrome strip on it. Are they still available?
Is there a way to pull that half round silver piece off; the part that sits below the Chrome strip?
