Remote start not working with myCadillac app

I picked up my Lux 3 2024 AWD Lyriq in early December - I love the car and have had no software issues except with the myCadillac app. As others have reported, charge status does not show up on the app, but importantly none of the remote commands work. They worked intermittently for a while, but I keep getting "server error" or "command failed" or "could not connect to vehicle" error messages, with "server error", the error I receive most often. I opened a case with On-Star, had the dealer update my infotainment software, deleted and reinstalled the app and still no luck--remote start does not work with the app. I asked On-Star if this error was unique to the Lyriq and the response was no. They said they passed the issue on to level 3 tech support and I have to wait to hear back.

Has anyone else encountered this problem. If so how was it resolved? What was the root cause of the problem?

Version 6.23.0 on Android here. Remote start, unlock, etc. work intermittently. State of charge meter does NOT work in the app. Everything worked fine until 2 days ago. Might be a coincidence but this started the same day I removed the PIN from unlocking my profile in-car.

Update from my original post in mid-January: Uninstalling and reinstalling the app did not work, nor did taking it to the dealership for a complete software update, nor did opening up a case and making more than a dozen calls to On Star level 1 tech support. I kept getting server error messages, command failed messages, messages requesting me to start my car to reestablish a connection. The level 1 tech support personnel were always very courteous and they tried to help with basic troubleshooting steps, but even they could not connect to the car to update some software settings. They referred me to the dealer for a software update, but even after all of the latest update for all of the command modules, the myCadillac app still failed to complete a command 75-80% of the time. Level 3 support was supposed to get back to me within a few business days, but they were not getting back to me, which was very aggravating. I finally found a sympathetic Level I tech who was determined to help, and after speaking to her supervisor, Level 3 support (connection center) finally started to respond with a greater sense of urgency. They made some OTA software changes that they thought would work, and said that there were a number of other things that they could try. The software change worked for about a day, and then the problem came back. Unfortunately, the case was closed out, so when I called back they said that they could not reopen the case and could not see any history. I called back again and found a tech who opened a new case and was able to locate the prior case number. The Level I tech said that the case would be elevated to Level 3 tech support and it would take three days to hear back. They must have pushed through another software update to my car, because of over the past two days the MyCadillac app has worked flawlessly. Sometimes it can take about a minute to establish a connection, but the remote start, lock and unlock, and charge status take seconds now to update. So for others experiencing the same problem, keep working with OnStar and escalate the issue if you are not satisfied.

The only remaining issue I have is the wireless charging (Iphone 15) does not work (which for me is a minor issue). Other than the frustration with the remote start, after 2,000 miles, I am very happy with the car and love the power, ride and handling, quietness, interior quality, and technology. I think Cadillac nailed the design and from a quality and overall driving experience, compared to other cars that I have owned including BMW, Audi, Jaguar and Mercedes, the Lyriq is on par with BMW/Audi and exceeds Jaguar and Mercedes.
