I was reading alot of older threads tonight( dead night at work:shhh: ) and I noticed a recall on nylon fuel rails. I have a 95 STS with nylon rails. I just bought the car about 6 months ago and checked for recalls and history on the car. Is this recall issued just in the USA?

I'm not sure. You should call your dealer and bug them about it, maybe they'll do something. If you can't get help through the dealer, it would probably be a good idea to replace it yourself with an SS rail from rockauto or GM Parts Direct.

You might try checking with another dealer or two to verify what you were told by the first dealer. I read a newspaper article some time ago regarding a dealer who charged customers for what should have been free then billed the manufacturer for the same repair.

Well I asked my friend that works at the dealership to find out about the recall. My vin# was checked and the only outstanding recall is the air bag sensor But he told me to start bugging GM Canada about the fuel rail recall and they'll might replace the rail for free. He gave me a number to call and I'm going to start having fun tommow morning:p
