rearview mirror cad eldorado

ok i have a rearview mirror from a 2004 chevy silverado is there anyway i could put it in my 1997 eldorado i dont care about the onstar or the temperature but i would like to have the compass and the auto dim work so does anyone know if the adaptor would go in the new mirror or if i would need to change it or if its not possible thanks

I doubt it. If your car didn't come with a compass it may not have the correct wiring and I would suspect that even if it has the wiring the connectors would be different.
