Recently had an accident where my rear bumper had to be repainted. I take it that it had to be removed but now I'm having issues with the parking assist not working. When I put the car in reverse the red light inside just blinks. No matter how close i get to anything behind the car. Before the bumper was painted everything worked fine and I checked it before I left the repair shop just to make sure it was operating. Is it anyway to check it or diagnostic codes that would be set. There isn't anything on the DIC.:confused:

Are you sure they plugged it back in? I'd just bring it back and tell them to fix it...

Crawl under the car behind the rear tire on both sides and check the harnesses to see if they are plugged in...
Passenger side has 2 harnesses and driver's side has 1 (at least in 08).
