I am having an oil leak on the ouside of the passengers side rear end out by the tire. As I am not very familiar with indepedent rear suspension I wonder if anyone can give me any advise on what it is & how to fix it. I tried a search but didn't find any answer. I looked a behind the rear wheel but I saw nothing. I get a few drops on the driveway but not all the time. The boot for the CV joint looks OK no tears.

If it just got warm there and you have a full tank of gas (or close) could just be your gas tank overflow tube. It comes out right behind the tire and heat causing the gas to expand could be the culprit.
ha ha, silly me. gas isn't an oil.... My baby needs to put me to bed. Night gents.
It is a leaky air ride strut. They still work 7 RIDE GOOD SO i WILL HAVE A WHILE TO DECIDE BETWEEN GTO shocks or monroe air shocks. If anyone has any experience or an opinion I would love to here it. Thanks for the help all!!!!
