Rear drivers side brake light not working

Has anyone experienced their rear brake light on the driver side or passenger side not lighting up and what is the recommended repair for this issue. I was quoted nearly $800 to replace the entire rear driver side break light and I know there has to be a more affordable alternative solution. I also am having an issue with the air conditioning not blowing out cold air at a high velocity. The air conditioner blows but it comes out of the vents At such a low velocity that I have to roll the windows down because I’m burning up inside of the car. I just paid a shop to replace the blend door actuator but the air conditioner is still blowing the exact same so that was a waste of money. Anyone who can assist me with the brake light and the air-conditioning issue and my 2014 Cadillac XTS platinum edition I would be grateful.

It's possible that the brake light problem is causing your other ABS etc. troubles. The brake lights and circuits are monitored for faults.

my 2013 xts passenger brake light went out last august. turn signal ok (these are built into the unit)
i had the dealer replace both led brake bulbs as they told me the whole rear bumper cover needed to come off including trunk liner and wheel well liners. so with the labor it would be worth replacing both lamps, we all know the dealer price for this.
anyway the passenger brake light just went out again and i replaced the led light myself without removing anything. 10 minutes. I actually reinstalled the good led they removed last year and it worked fine. I will bring the blown led back to the dealer for warranty parts replacement.
