The chrome accent strip on my rear bumper was damaged yesterday...not by me! Does anyone know if the bumper cover has to be removed to replace the trim piece, or can it be removed with the bumper cover still attached to the car?

According to the "Motors Crashbook" the rear bumper does need to be removed.

Does anyone have the know the part number for the rear bumper top chrome strip for a 2012 cts
