Hi all, have a question here for experts. The rear tires on my SRX have become very bald on the inside, even down to the steel:banghead:. My question is, is there a way to align the rear end of the car?:suspect:
The SRX has 4 wheel independent suspension and each wheel can be independently aligned. I typically need an alignment every 22,000 miles on every car I have owned. Good luck.
Yes....you should have a 4 wheel alignment....especially if your rears are showing wear. I would think that most alignment shops now would only want to do a 4 wheel alignment.
Spyke....can't rotate these tires due to different sizes.
Yes, i realized this after I posted the question.. I'm a big corvette fan and this suspension is alot like theirs. New tires are installed and have alignment scheduled for tomorrow. thanks all, great help as usual.:alchi:
I have been rotating the original tires since the car was new ('07 V8) without any problems with handling or tire wear problems. I just repalced the tires with (4) same size tires with the intention of doing the same every 3-5k miles.
