I dont know if im allowed to post links here, but here it is, i made a nice site for them which is blasted all over the internet
http://oasautos.synthasite.com/

Stay away from this place.

I took it to another shop, where i paid $2,200.00. THey did a heck of a job as far as the body, they just could not buckle one part of the bumper because the frame is still bent from orlando auto specialist. Although, the truck still has mechanical problems, what they did for that amount of money was good. All i have left is the service stability, service ride control, service air bag, no cold air on air condition, a hole in the windshield wiper fluid bucket, i need new windshield wipers, and i need my fuse block remounted with a new casing. Ive fixed alot of problems myself, so im getting there. .

Wow, that sucks. I had a bad run in with an auto body shop too. I too went to small claims court and lost. It was unreal!!!! My V was painted two different colors and the judge didnt care! Anyway, lesson learned. I only go to shops that USAA recommends...nd stay away from "mechanics/painters" with Boston accents. It's a C-A-R...not C-A :banghead:

Thanks for letting us know this of this BOGUS company. I have friends in FL who are pretty much into the car show scene and will tell them to take note and tell EVERYONE ELSE they know about this crappy company.

It's always the honest businesses that end up closing and no good scumbag thieves like these just get more fat. Crap like this pisses me off.

Yea, you wont believe how many people during this time, told me bad stuff about this business. From police officers, to other people that worked for there shop, to even tow truck drivers. Seems like anytime i mentioned this companies name, i would get a story from someone. This company, has a auto sales store, and then the custom body shop next door, the body shop is eye candy, and the auto sales part is Orlando Auto Specialist. Someone told me that they work with the police even, to bust drug dealers. I was told that they lend out some of the custom cars that they have, to hang out around drug dealers and to cover thereselves.

I new i had no chance in court after hearing this. Dont matter though, because alot of people get there business from the internet, and after people read the reviews i have put on sites, they would crazy to go to them, so in the long run, i lost 12K, they will loose 120K in business easily, or more over time. Im not done, im posting stuff every week.

So as you can see in the photos how they gave me the truck back, the engine was torn apart, the new shop finished the job the best they could. I gave them 2K, and the truck looks like a normal escalade with fresh paint, but just having a few mechanical problems. Its important to get this truck right again, or else, the enemy would have won. They stole my wheels, and thats the sad part i wish i had another 5K to put on my truck right now but i dont.

I hear ya on that - and hopefully they will close down. This crap is so not right man, what they did to you. It's sad that the judge did not put himself in your shoes (can you take a judge to court?? LOL) - well look on the bright side - it is all coming together now :2thumbs:

Persistance, ive come to realize i can do anything with persistance. This truck has been in 2 body 3 body shops for over a year, it sat up at a cadillac body shop for about 6 months. I didnt know what to do, even after the work eye candy did, cadillac still wanted 14,000 to complete the job the right way, but i got it done for 2000 and the extras i have to ad in. I emailed the attorney general, they pushed me to the side.

also i noticed on a google search that if you type in "EYE CANDY CUSTOMS" .... your website doesnt come up.... I know if they aren't paying to get their name to the top of the search results, as little as $5 a month can get your site up there when people type in the name... call or email google about that

heres some motivation.... looks like he spend some of your $12k to get his eye brows plucked...

Where did you find this photo of this scumbag, do you know he told me he would replace my wheels, but he then told me because of my attitude he wouldnt, and gave me my truck back on dummy tires. Im not a thug or anything, but if they pulled that crap in detroit, they would be dead. Someone down here already burned up a shop, and trust me if someone did burn there shop down, most police officers wouldnt care because they are tired of coming up to there business because the public has to call the police to deal with these people. I gotta know where you got the photo lol

nevermind i found where u got it, the other photo is the scumbag who told me the quote, told me 8K and 2 weeks to fix it. Now, i didnt know , not being in that business, that 2 weeks would have been impossible probably. I mean, they took me in there shop and showed me how they took a hummer h2, put a rolls royce phantum front end on it, and turn the truck into a 6 wheeler, with 28 inch rims, so i figured they could do me good, and they did me good alright.

I ended up spending 14K anyway, might as well had of went to cadillac and got it done right with a new frame.

Ok, I do not really know the guy but I read the website he created and insurance or not there is no need to be so negative and judge him :thepan: (although you claim you are not lol). Heck he did not expect to go thru all this crap!! Why he kept the same truck? Maybe he just liked THAT ONE. Its a guy-car thing - some of us never let go no matter what happens - we fix and fix and fix lol and it feels GREAT at the end of the day!

BTW, do you sell insurance? Just wondering after tryin to read between the lines in your statement above, honey... :cool2:

What the hell was the point of this post (let alone that ridiculous website) in the first place? Regardless of what this body shop did or did not do... Are we supposed to sympathize or feel any sort of pity for you? While it seems there may be a few others in this subforum that may sympathize with you, you're not going to get any from me... I don't feel sorry for you whatsoever - nor do I think the vast majority of the members on this site would either were they to come across this post.

What you did was one of the most selfish, foolish, reckless, irresponsible, and asinine things anyone can do with their car... The accident should have never happened as you shouldn't have even been on the road to begin with since you were driving around illegally without insurance. The last time I checked, Florida was one of the 48 states in this country which requires a bare minimum of liability insurance in order to operate your vehicle.

I hope to God that there was no one else involved in this accident and that it was merely something stupid you did that resulted in a one car incident. If it did unfortunately involve another vehicle, I can't realistically see how you were able to walk away from it - If I were the other motorist involved... I would have broken your kneecaps. I'm not exaggerating in the least bit either... There is almost nothing else that angers me more than someone who knowingly gets in a car and drives without insurance - especially if and when I'm out driving with my wife or another family member. Even more so when the person can afford $5000 wheels and the repair bills on their vehicle.

I also can't quite wrap my head around the fact that you actually had the balls to call the police over all this... What's even more astounding and exasperating is that they didn't at least give you a citation, if not impound your vehicle and revoke your tags and license.

In reality - you got off way too easily and far too cheap... Had this entire experience cost you twice as much, it still wouldn't be appropriate.

I don't give two craps whether or not you care about yourself, your property, nor what you do with either... But there are countless other people on the road who should never have to pay for the sheer incompetence of people such as you.

AMGoff, while I agree on not driving around with no insurance, I still think that he did not deserve to get ripped off by the bodyshop but hey that's just me :)

BTW, while you're on the insurance subject - it is also required here in IL too BUT, a few years ago a guy with no insurance got into a wreck with a friend of mine (my buddy did not stop at a four way stop and side smashed the guy) - well, from what I heard the guy just had to show that he got some insurance at the time he had to go to court and my friend's insurance had to pay for the damages anyway.

Basically, the guy walked away CLEAN...

I am pretty sure that did not happen in Dupage county! The guy without insurance would've definately did some county time and been fined, suspended etc... They do not play that sh*t round here! Funny I read this thread before, but in the story of the body shop ripping him off, I forgot he was uninsured... Maybe you did get off easy because had you been in an accident involving a personal injury you would've lost a hell of alot more. Take it as a lesson learned.
