I am experiencing the low distance range for unlocking the doors, remote starting the car, and the TPMS sensors are sporadically showing up as dashes but then fix themselves (they are all brand new). So it seems I need to have the RCLDR module and antenna replaced as per the TSB which I saw on here. There are new RCLDR modules and antennas on ebay and parts direct and swapping it out physically looks easy, and I know how to reprogram fobs and TPMS sensors, but does anyone know if its simply a module swap or does the dealer have to actually program the new RCDLR module to the car as well prior to reprogramming the fobs and sensors?

Any GM dealer or shop with access to TIS can program the RCDLR. Make sure you bring all you FOB’S
