RCDLR issues/location

Hi all, looking for some advice/info. Been working on the truck getting it ready for the road. The PO did not take care of it at all. Got the carpet dried out, Replaced the turn signal switch for the right turn high beam issue. But ever since I did that the key fob no longer works and the tpms doesn’t work either, just shows dashes in the dic. Not sure if its related or not or just a coincident. The battery was unhooked for just over an hour. I’m trying to locate the RCDLR module. From what I’ve read and what my service manual says its located under the cargo tray in the right rear cargo area. Well I took that whole area apart and I can’t seem to find it. Nothing was mounted under the tray. The only things behind the panel was the rear body control module, the XM receiver and the VCIM all hidden behind the subwoofer. Is there another location for it or am I just not seeing it? It has to be somewhere as it was working before.

Thanks for any help this is driving me nuts.

I forgot to mention its a 2006 SRX base AWD. Did some more investigation this morning, if it has been sitting for a while and I press any button on the fob I hear a click but does nothing. Seems like it’s receiving the signal but either is tripping something or a wire is unhooked. It is baffling me. I think I’m going to tear that side apart again today and see if I just missed it, but nothing was mounted to the bottom of the tray as I had it out and on my bench. I do most of my own work, I have a large tool box full of Mac and Snap-On tools. I’m thinking a tech 2 is going to be my next purchase. Anybody have any ideas on where it might be?
thanks

Try this.

First, the RCDLR (remote keyless door lock receiver) is located under the little storage tray in the passenger side rear, the flippy cover in the 3rd row seat area. You DO NOT have to remove the entire rear right interior panel to get to it. Just lift the rubber bottom out of the storage compartment, find the two or three screws that hold it in place, and carefully pull the compartment out. The RCDLR is clipped directly to the underside of that compartment.

Thanks but unfortunately there is nothing mounted to the bottom of the tray. I have no idea where it might be. I don’t know why or what happened but when I went to leave for an appointment this afternoon the darn thing started working again. The fob works as well as the tpms. Still looking for where it might be hidden. Ive been scratching my head trying to find it. But at least its working (for now lol)

Thanks Phoenixx, I do have those modules above the headliner one on each side. I will check them out in the morning. I checked my RPO tag and it doesn’t show EXC, AU5, nor AU8. Due to the sunroof drains that leaked the numbers on the modules are unreadable. I am hoping its just some corrosion on the connectors that I can clean off. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. If I need to get new ones how do I know what I need? Could you tell me if I sent you a pic of the RPO tag?
Thanks for all your help.

Well I took the modules out and cleaned them up and all seems to be working, for now anyways. My next issue to tackle is the amp seems to shut down. The radio works but probably once a day the sound will quit. No chimes no nothing. The only way to get the sound back is to pull and replace the amp fuse. I pulled the codes for the amp with my vident code reader and got a bunch of codes. Does this mean the amp is failing or another issue?
