I posted last week regarding no heat on the floor in my 1996 DeVille. I took it in our shop today and had someone look at it. I did have some heat on the floor, it was just luke warm at BEST. The reason.... my AC compressor is turning on at the same time! Don't know why. We unplugged the cycling switch and now... HEAT! At least I'll be warm this winter. I don't know why the AC was kicking on. Any ideas on what we should look at?

A/C compressor will be on in the AUTO mode anytime the ambient air tempuratue is above 35 degrees I think. Even so, you should get heat if requested. I would suspect an air mix door, which leads back to a vacuum problem.
