I was wondering would the performance increase be worth it you think?

What i want to do is put a scoop on the hood of my 1997 ETC and run it to the air box like an SS Camaro or Trans AM. Or i was thinking of running an air tube from the grill to the air box? Worth the effort or waste of time?

Waste of time would be my guess. I recall once hearing that you won't see enough "ram effect" til about 100 mph or better. I'm sure you can verify or debunk that with some research.

I think if you go over to caddyinfo.com and look into the northstar performance section, you will see some different things people have done to their air intake. There are also some dynos listed and track times. Take a look at them are judge for yourself.

Always wanted to try that but rather than any kind of hood scoop I would use the open area under the grille (that I can't remember the name of right now...) Never got around to it since it would be a PITA to do.
