The little box that senses moisture on the windshield lost adhesion today and I was wondering what I needed to use to reattach it to the window. If it had to be a special compound or what. Thanks guys

Good thing you thought to ask before sticking it back up there!

Yeah but you have to change the wiper motor controller (that plastic box looking like a cover on the motor), add the Rainsens module (at least the switch is compatible) plus lot of wiring. I can give you all details if you are still interested.

O.P. you might get away cheaper with your local car windshield shops.

When it happened to me, the local glass shop did it for free.

you gotta get a special kit from the dealer or GMparts direct. It has special adhesion strips that are specific for the rainsense (they give u 2 in case you mess up). It also comes with some cleaning stuff. Its not cheap either. i just had to do it and it was like $40 or $50 bucks. ouch.
