[DVC-Don]

A couple of days ago I got the chance to take the wifes SRX on a little trip to the next town. The darn radio/CD player had no sound - nada! Turned it on and off, changed the channels and the display worked just fine, but no sound. Same with the CD player. Anyway, got where I was going and shut it off and when I came out and started the SRX, BAM!!!!! - more sound than my ears could handle. Has not done it since. Anyone?

Did you hit the mute button on the steering wheel? Sure sounds like it! (Pun intended!)

Boy I slapped my forehead and headed out to the garage to check on that. I never realized there was a mute button, but it was not that. I just tried it and yes it mutes the sound, but displays "Audio Mute" when it's activated. The radio display was normal when I had the problem.

Dang!!! Thought you solved my problem.

Well, thanks a lot Don! My radio doesn't say anything when I'm in "mute".

Now I have a problem! I'm inclined to "fogetaboutit" !
