For what ever reason I can't send a private maessage, so I'll try the open forum. I have a '03 CTS that the 6 cd changer does not work at all and the FM signal on the radio fades in and out (Bose system). I did a service history and it turns out the radio and the cd changer were both replace TWICE under warranty-no warranty now-I kind of suspect the problem might with the car and not the radio. Any suggestion? Since this seems to be an ongoing issue I am thinking about going aftermarket, but I would like to retain my DIC. The audio stores I checked with here said it wasn't possible, although from reading the threads here I got the impression it is. I really need help and advice with this as I am not capable of doing this myself and I can just feel the big bill coming from the dealer with no guarantees. Thanks top anyone that can help. Bill

There is a common issue with the changers
getting jammed and there is a step by step
process on the forum somewhere to take it
appart and repair it.
As for the dic, yes you can keep it there
are a few guys on there that have.
Also if you change the deck I think you
have to change all the speakers and bypass
the bose amp.
