Carefully check and clean the ground connections on your battery negative terminal and the groung cable connected to your alternator. Check the connetions at both ends of both cables for a good clean solid connection. With a new battery you shouldn't have to jump start the car. Sounds like a bad connection and the new battery is not getting charged up. This would/could affect the rest of the electrical system including the sound system.SEL said:Hello all. The radio/cassette keeps shutting off in my 92' Sedan Deville. I just replaced the battery about 6 months ago, and yesterday the car would not start, but after a jump it started, but today the stereo is acting up....Please advise, Thanks, Sel.:banghead:
