Somewhere around this time ('96) I think they (GM) hooked the condenser to the radiator. Just a tang in a slot at 9 and 3 o'clock. Just be aware you may have to lift the condenser up an inch to 'unlock' it from the radiator, unless you want to take both out as a set.
If it's like my '99, there's an a/c line support clip on the fan that is easy to break. I broke it when I pulled my rad. Fortunately, later when I had to replace that line because of a freon leak, the new one came with that clip. Must be a common fail point.
