Has anyone here had a problem with their radiator?

Coolant was all over the ground a couple days ago. Sensor kept saying coolant low so i put more in and didn't leak for 3 days at allThen 3 days later coolant sensor came on again, and coolant was all over the ground.

Took it to a shop here in North Dallas (Kwik Kar),
and watched the mechanic pressure test it, but nothing came out. I had them replace the radiator and this morning coolant is all
over the ground again. The work is under warranty and the mechanic claims that a seal in the new radiator wasn't right and they
are going to put another new radiator in no charge.

My question is-Has anyone else had radiator problems at all?

The GM OEM radiators are a known weakness and the aftermarket units of the same design are not much better. Many on this forum have gone through several, although most are not "dead on arrival." The permanent fix is a aftermarket aluminum unit http://alradco.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=54&Itemid=60. Finally, in your case, I am not sure the water pump can be ruled out.

I'm not sure if Alradco is still around. Try searching for DeWitt's or Cold Case - I believe they are both still making/selling V radiators if you need an all aluminum one.

I used to run an Alradco, but sold it and went back to a stock one. I didn't see any cooling benefit from the Alradco during track days, and it put an extra ~20# way out on the nose of the car. Didn't seem worth it to me.
