Can anyone tell me what tools are needed to disconnect the upper radiator hose on a 99 Seville STS and how easy is it to access? Thanks much.

If you do not get any answers, try a garage with alldata or a dealer parts dept. Either can print out a picture of that area. Alldata will give instructions.

Don't forget lower hose, by pass hose, and heater hoses. They are all dry rotted if no one changed them.

:bouncy: For your toolbox....The GM clamps that look like spring units with one finger on one side, two fingers on the other.....buy a cheap pair of slipjoint pliers with a jaw width that will cover the wide (2) finger side. Clamp the closed pilers in a vise, a flat side up. Using a couple of progressively larger high speed drills, just in from the tip of the jaws, drill a 1/16" - 3/32" hole between the two jaws, side to side. You now have a grooved set of clamp pliers. Works for older fuel lines, filters, stuff like that.........
