Who has the quickest STS-V?

1/4 or 1/8th mile ( I can translate! lol)

Please also give mph and 60' and race weight, AND what was done to get you there.

Just curious to see what people have been able to do with these cars.

Any 11 or 10 second V's out there?:eek:

My best run was a 12.73 @ 108 with a 1.81 sixty and my 1/8th was 8.18. Not sure what my race weight was - but I have the stage I&II D3 intakes and ECU. Thats it. Disconnected the wheel sensors and dropped the rear tire pressure to 20 psi (I think). She hooked up good considering the run craps. I think I could have launched a little harder without frying the tires. Check out my photo album - I posted all my timeslips from the day.

We did a Stage 3 build for a customer. It was a lower end build w/ ported heads, Modified blower, 17 psi boost, Upgraded converter, custom headers, and our standard bolt ons.

He called me 2 weeks ago and told me he ran [email protected] on Toyo T1R's

Don't include this in the mix, cause I have no proof to back it up. I'm waiting for him to go again so we can get video and time slips. He is based in TX if any of you know him. I think Hennessey knows who I'm talking about.

question for D3, have yall ever ran the juice on the V's? jw.

We have and do still run methanol to help cool down the air charge, but never any Nitrous. I have a customer in Florida that has a stage 2 XLR-V w/ out headers and is running a 50 or 75 shot. I think he ran an 11.8? His car has issues though, his compression is 20 psi under the min factory spec.

Something in that engine is hurt for sure. But he says it was like that before the spray was installed.:thepan:

d3Mark- Man I wish I was still living in my home town! I was born and raised in Long Beach.. Where in Signal Hill are you? Cross streets?
That's pretty interesting. I don't think I'd ever want to do that to mine! lol Just some basics.(Maybe)

But for an everyday street car 11's is moving out for sure! Of the people who are responding, is this the quickest car you've owned/driven?

If not, what's the quickest? I haven't run my STS, but I've been [email protected] 1/8 in my mustang on 275 radials

We are between cherry and orange right off the 405.


My street car is Mustang(fox) in N/A form it runs high 11's
Fastest car I have ever driven was a low 9 sec cobra when I was doing my lisence passes.
My current street sleeper project is a 78 fairmont(turbo-thats all I will say)

I want to get my own personal 09 CTS-V, but a shop V will have to do for now. haha
