I'm trying (note {"trying) to replace the radiator on my 2000 Deville-DTS, and I was told that I'm looking at a "quick release" connection on the lines. . Seems to have a pin holding the like to the nut. Is there a special tool for this ? ? ? Any suggestions as to how to take this apart. I started to use the old fashion wrench and wrench the line out. . . . but consider coming here first. This is not like working on my 96 FW, for sure.

Thanks - hap

While the quick-connects pictured are for those vehicles equipped with oil coolers, Cadillac recommends replacing the fitting itself if the line(s) are ever disconnected (internal O-rings collapse) so, yes, you could carefully remove the fitting with the line attached, remove the line at your leisure, replace it with a new fitting (dealer or the Help! blister packs in a big parts store) and snap the line back in.
