Hey, I live in Florida and it's HOT. The A/C has been malfunctioning on and off for over a year. The other day, the leak dye test finally proved positive, and the leak is indeed at the evaporator. I have a 2018 XT5, that I bought from Carvana in 2021. I had the dye test done by a local mechanic (friend of mine) and not at the Cadillac dealership. My friend said it's a 3 day $2,500 fix. Can anyone please tell me if this issue and cost is covered by Cadillac if I bring my XT5 to the dealership since it sounds like the TSB 18-NA-052 issue? $2,500 is too much for me right now.
