If you read the entire TSB, you will see reference to Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty. Your 2018 is not covered by that Warranty any longer. If you have another warranty that extends coverage, you are subject to the terms and conditions of that warranty.

I have a leaking evap coil on my '19. Did you ever get yours repaired? I am thinking about DIYing it, but tearing the dash apart is a little daunting.

 

I would check with Cadillac Customer Service and the dealership service manager to see if something might be able to be done to help with the cost.

 

The referenced TSB, 18-NA-052, does not describe the issue as reported by @djcampbell or @DeweyRod14. The TSB applies to air flow escaping around the perimeter of the evaporator resulting in reduced air flow from the dash vents. The posters are complaining about liquid leaks at the evaporator.

 

Mine is a refrigerant leak at the evap coil. I'm not concerned about the TSB. Just looking for anyone who might have access to or knowledge of the dash teardown procedure I can follow to replace the coil with a new one. I am not interested in paying $2500 in labor.
