Before you flame me for not searching, I am guilty but I am hoping the group will chime in with different options. I am not even sure where to start when searching.

I have an 07 V and I want to replace the stock wheels. I have not been on this forum in ages so I don't know if there is anything new and improved for the V1. Could be the same old stuff but I am hoping someone out there gave the V1's some well deserved love.

Okay, so here is what I know:
CCW SP600 - Great wheels but a bit on the pricey side

I believe there is an option to convert to 5 lug if creative steel is still in the market. The problem with this is to do the change over and then buy wheels, expensive.

I would like to be back on 19 inchers again but would be okay on 18's, do not want to go to 20's.

I am planning on putting the V1 back on the track again so I want to give the suspension a refresh as well. Any ideas or thoughts about this would be much appreciated!

You can do a DIY 5-lug conversion, too - there are a number folks that have done that. Pretty sure user Byron pieced his setup together himself, for instance. If I didn't already have 4 sets of 6-lug wheels I probably would've gone that route when I upgraded to the V2 front brakes.

As for suspension, nothing new really. Well, I guess one new-ish option is coil-overs from Feal - http://feal-suspension6.mybigcommerce.com/feal-441-coilovers-04-07-cadillac-cts-v/. No personal experience with them, but I know in the Subaru world they're pretty highly regarded as a good mid-cost option - better than the rock-bottom D2/Megan/KSport type stuff, but not as expensive as KWs.

I went with the ballar option and did the creative steel 5 lug conversion in a box.

I use 2010 Camaro SS rotors, no issues with the setup other than price.

I do run a custom wheel company however if you want to send me a PM with your email address I'd be happy to send you more info.

I just got my V in December and have the same dilemma. Really found the V wheels are so expensive that the cost of the 5 lug swap plus cheaper common wheels is about a wash.

Have been on the road so much the last couple of months haven't had any time but it's somewhere around the top of my to do list, maybe 5th. Maybe 10th if you include everything the wife stuck on there.
