Ok so i just purchased this grille and it didnt come with the emblem. I want to order an emblem but it looks like the moldings of it is differnt from what the emblem is... the wreath goes up alot higher then what the modling is, and the middle crest isnt the same shape.. also if i orderd the large emblem will i be able to just glue the middle and place it over? heres some pics

looks like an ebay knock off grille to me, but to each there own...yes that is a V crest and wreath

So your saying that i could place the bigger emblem over that even thought its not the same size?

that grille you have posted is a knockoff of an OEM CTS-V grille...therein which, you would need a CTS-V crest and wreath for it to look proper and fit properly. the link you have posted is just that, an CTS-V crest and wreath, although if i was you, i would try and find an auction that say CTS-V crest and wreath instead of just CTS

Well i orderd the grille from a parts warehouse for 220 thinking it woulda been the original cts grille and came with the emblem but idk what i was thinking.. i seen the same grill for 125 one bay so obvs it wasnt worth it. I can return the grille but they want to charge me 20% restock fee which is bs. But i guess ill take the loss of 40 dollars and return it and try to find one off a totalled v or something.

if you like that one, stay with that one...if you want real OEM parts, then there are vendors on here that can hook you up with decent prices...or you can go through www.gmpartsdirect.com

thats an aftermarket grille and those 2 pieces that resemble a wreath and crest are there to line things up. the 2008 and up cts grill wreathe and crest are too big and look a bit stupid. the factory v series emblem lays different then the normal cts emblem. you are looking for the factory v series emblem from cts model years 05 till 07. use my name in your search bar i have them!

Looks like the E&G Classics grille (also sold by Vogue and many other online retailers)

the CTS-V grille emblem is sold as a 'kit' with both the wreath and the crest
the regular CTS grille emblem is sold as two pieces (wreath and crest separate)

so they're not the same and you will have to order one for a V-series if you want the best fit

also, the grille you got should have come with a mounting plate that goes in the middle
the mounting plate allows you to put the emblems on... without it you'll have a very hard time getting the emblems to stick to the mesh
