[This takes up where the thread at https://www.cadillacforums.com/thre...-then-how-to-get-to-ignition-cylinder.1091099 leaves off, as the issue is separate but related, and I think it will be easier for someone dealing with this part that does a later web search to find this as a separate thread.]
Having run the new ignition cylinder through the columnn, I am now faced with some parts and the need to put my steering wheel back on. I took plenty of pictures, but didn't do well enough at keeping them separately from those of the '95 that was to be a donor.
I think I know where these need to go, but I don't want to force and strip.
I have three black Phillips screws. I think they go to the yellow locations, but if so, which one wants the long one?
I have a T-20. I want to say that it goes at the green location, as I rhink I remember needing to remove the switch above it to remove that screw to release the ignition cylinder.
I initially didn't remove the fork held by fingers here, which is part of the turn signal assembly, but it was necessary in order to get this plate over the end of the steering column. I think this should be the pair of steel Phillips screws. Is it the the larger on the upper and the smaller on the lower blue hole? The lower one seems to have fallen on the floor of the car in the dark. In case I can't find it, does anyone know what it is?
And where should the nub on this fork fit on the turn signal lever assembly? I don't see anything obvious.
And finally, was it necessary to remove a screw or bolt to take of the hazard indicator? I thought so, but I seem to have accounted for all of them . . .
