After a half hour, several minor bumps and bruises, couple stubbed fingers and a small headache. I now have my V grill attached (somewhat). As, I pulled a few "rigs" but, for the most part its pretty stable.

Ordered it from GMpartsdirect and shipped ahead of expected date - which was good. However, when the grill first came it was out of alignment? Did anyone else expierence the mesh outside metal lining at the bottom? Anyone else "rig" it on?

I'll post pics shortly.

Thanks,
EG

Didn't you read the posts of putting on the V-grill? Nothing really was rigged on by anyone. A bunch of us cut the little black plastic retainers a small bit, to refasten them, but everything else goes on, just as you took the old one off...
No problems with alignment on mine...

When i got my first V grill, the mesh was poped out on the bottom; just refixed it within the track.

I also experienced this and called the company . They said it was the first they heard of it . They said if it continued it would be a warranty issue . Also if you lose or break the push pins use small wire ties in thier place .
