WE CLEANED OUT PURGE LINE W COMP AIR- IT WAS STOPPED.
COOLING SYSTEM NOW STABLE FOR DAILY DRIVING.

Initially I thought that purge line to Coolant SurgeTank was only to purge air from the system. Now appears that Heated coolant is routed from engine to THROTTLE BODY then to the Surge Tank. Heated coolant is thought to prevent icing in the fuel delivery system.

My questions to the forum are:

1. Induction icing in N* engine. How can this be? Has anyone heard of a
case of icing ? This is not a piper cub!

2. On 94 N* there are two 3/8" short Black rubber hoses near throttle
body.Any coolant in them? What do they do?
