Hi,

I am looking for my first vehicle which is a SUV. For quite sometime, I am interested in the Cadillac Escalade. I would like know if anybody in this forum who has purchased a Escalade,new or used as their first vehicle.

I drove a 2001 Yukon XL, only one time, so I know the feel of a SUV.

I have done some research on the Escalade, and I am impressed with it.

I am looking for advise or suggestions on purchasing an used 2002-2005 Escalade.

Any feedback will help.

I purchased a used 2003 ESV with 22,000 miles and I love it. The ride is amazing even wih 22's.Make sure you Purchase from a place with a good track record. Enjoy your new ride:thumbsup:!!!!!! Well, its not my 1st vehicle, but I just purchased a used 03 and I love it more than any ride I've ever owned. I researched for months before I bought it, gave me time to get the most $$ out of my 97 Yukon. I decided not to buy an 02 because it still shared a couple similarities to the 1st gen.

Make sure you invest in a decent security system, and dont go too big on wheels or it will ruin the ride.

Well for me, just having the older steering wheel ruins the feel for me completely.

Welcome to the Forum. The newer you can buy the better, you will have a longer warranty, depending on mileage. Depending on your driving habits the Escalade gets ok fuel mileage, but not good, so it will be expensive to run, but if you really want one I am sure you will be pleased with the ride and performance.
