I'm looking at a 2006 CTS-V with only 300 miles on it that is still on the dealer's lot, and I'd get the new car warranty starting the day of purchase.

If I choose the 0% financing for 60 months, they will sell to me for $47,500 which includes the '06 warranty since its not preowned.
Whats nice about the 06 vs. the 07 is that there is no gas guzzler tax so its slightly cheaper. But the 07s will probably be starting to go on sale soon.
Still seems like they should come down on the price?
any opinions? what'd other people pay for an '06 or '07 ?

thanks in advance.

i just bought my 06 infrared cts-v on 5-12-2006 it had 206 miles from crest cadillac in plano texas and flew from st. louis to plano to drive it home because the one at plaza cadillac which was infrared had damage. hope that is not the one your looking to buy if so let me know and i will get specific as to where all damage was. they wanted 49985 and would not budge till i left i was prepared to offer 45,000 before i saw damage. they called me back the next day and went to 46750 but i told them i did not want it as it would have putty in it and bought the one out of texas for 44,464. at that time there was 1 more infrared in florida and it had sat on their lot 512 days that was back in may so if that is the one your refering to it would now have been there for over 600 days. there was a silver one also but i forgot where. and it is 1,000 cheaper as not premium paint. i thought i got a real good deal thill i heard what people here are saying so i'd say negotiate way down. i can have my friend run locator and see if the other 2 are still available and remember financing and cash back incentives go off your home address not where you buy from so you can get 0-60 or cash back from any dealer in usa as long as it is offered in your home market. just stay away from the one at plaza unless last one in country and you negotiate a much better price and don't mind putty.
