After seeing this Black 04 CTS at my local Cadillac Dealer I had to have it. This car came off of the lease program and looks brand new with only 22k miles. By the way thanks for the info in the forums here it did help alot in my decision to buy a CTS.
I notice a lot of V exhaust installs posted here, how is the sound, is it a lot louder than stock?

Check out the small clip I did to compare the sounds. I should do another because I belive now it sounds even better than when it was first installed!

Thanks to Reed and CadillacFAQ.com for the hosting

The sound is perfect for the CTS. A nice low burble @ idle, a wonderful midrange passing sound, and a roaring enthusiastic "Get out of my way" sound @ full throttle :)

Just curious how much did you pay for the car and what is your monthly payment? :bonkers:

27k $490.00, by the way Marine where should I order a V grill? The last nice sports car I owned was a 89 Turbo Supra and I love the fact I dont have to idle for a while when I get home to keep from cooking the oil.:yup: And even more impressive is my current horse power without Turbo. Technology is great.

Yo, Fix...I see we already have 2 things in common - 04 CTS owners, AND previous Toyota Supra owners - mine was an 87, non-turbo tho....Welcome to the forum..also there are some other clips on Cadifaq...I posted a clip of my 3.6 with Magnaflow Mufflers and Volant....There is also DubbedStealth's clip of his 3.6, with Magnaflow, Volant and V-Exhaust....
btw welcome to the forum this means I am not the noob anymore ,, wow promotion already thxs
Paul your car looks awesome in the pics:) I should really avoid looking at the mods as my wife is wanting to kill me just for purchasing the CTS. She starts seeing different sh*t on the car I will be a dead man. I could probably get away with some Exhaust tips.:lildevil: Anyway, thanks for the welcomes into the Forums.

Welcome to the forum, you can do the v-exhaust and the volant intake and she'd be none the wiser as they due little visually (just the tips). The seat of the pants is a nice bonus.Good luck in avoiing it as it is addictive.
