If I understand correctly, SEMA unveiled a pilot warranty program as its show that is scheduled to be launched in January called ProPledge.
The primary motivation to launch such a program was primarily generated by the fact that drivers risk voiding vehicle warranties when installing aftermarket parts.
Under this program, participating companies would offer their customers a minimum of a 3-year or 36,000-mile warranty that would cover the vehicles when problems arise after off-the-shelf products are installed.
Does anyone have or know any additional information about this program? Who are some of these participating companies? It sounds interesting.
