Just picked this up 1980 Sedan Deville 5.7 Diesel my friend who I got it from, deamed it Cadzilla so I figured I'd carry it on for him
My pictures are kinda crappy so ill get some new ones in the morning.
Top of the list right now:
Power Steering pump
Climate control center functioning properly
radio working better (has aftermarket alpine deck w/ 6 disk changer in the glove box, still have the factory am/8track player)
interior lighting
right blinker
windshield wipers
suspension
exhaust
on list for repair/parts
rear bumper
vinyl pieces between lights and bumpers in all 4 corners
fix rust/paint
windshield chrome
redo door panels
shampoo seats/carpet
cruise
factory style rim
side mirror with thermometer
trunk springs
I'm half tempted to shoot the vinyl with some black and see how it looks, redoing could be quite spendy. Going to be a long slow process but hope she turns out in the end, really hard on the budget trying to build two performance diesels and restore a car.
First question,
What do you call these pieces, 3 of 4 corners are broke and im trying to hunt down new ones

Run down of the basic problems i need to fix ASAP
Wipers - dont work, he has a switch for me just need to get it swapped out and hope thats it
Cruise - all lights come on, auto goes green but doesnt hold speed, he thinks he might have left it unhooked after doing the motor
Climate control - no air flow parked, moving at 55 good airflow, im guessing blower motor shot and just gettign forced air from moving, also blend door doesn't fuction or directional door
Power Steering - just needs a new pump, leaks fluid out as fast as you poor it in
Interior lighting - randomly pops fuse, scares me when I'm cruising, hit a bump and see a glow by my feet (fuse popping) all lights work when the fuse is good
Suspension - somehow stiffen it up
Right blinker, comes on and stays solid, all exterior bulbs are good (according to the fiber optic indicators) it just doesnt blink and the dash indicatior doesnt work, left blinkers work great everywhere
Exhaust - rusted out leaky, like to do a nice dual exit with tips tucked up under the body, barely visible, not sure if i love or hate this motor for the fact it sounds like a gasser 90% of the time, im used to the deep diesel rumble my Cummins makes haha
